Cody graduated from Cal Poly in 1993 with a degree in Engineering Technology / Manufacturing Processes. Before joining the Aerospace Engineering Department as the Equipment Technician, he had a maintenance and repair facility at San Luis Obispo airport, servicing general aviation aircraft. He likes to fabricate machinery and build things. Cody also enjoys working with his crew and students.
